about

Welcome

Welcome to my blog! You will find a mix of personal and professional work, opinions and everything else that is remotely connected to holding a camera, including the one in the phone.

With so many great photography blogs out there I was first doubtful that a blog I put together will make any impact on anyone. Truth to be told, business wise, most of my work comes through referrals and not Facebook or any other digital media. As a result, it took me a while until I started putting it together.

My first instinct was to create a blog that is purely work related, an open gallery for my clients and potential clients to see. However, as articles started piling up and more potential articles came to mind, I realized that creating a blog is a process that I greatly enjoy and there is so much I want to share beyond just posting images.

Motti Bembaron

This is my blog. It is a mix of personal and professional work, opinions and everything else that is remotely connected to holding a camera, the one in the phone included.

My name is Motti (here with my dear wife) I am a photographer based in Vaudreuil, Quebec, Canada. I was born on the shores of the beautiful Mediterranean Sea but I spent the last 30 years covered with snow in sub-zero temperatures.

My journey into photography started not too long ago as a digital album maker. It was just as the first real digital cameras came out and for many photographers it was a challenge to adapt. The progress from making albums to actually taking pictures did not take long. Starting with a tiny budget all I could afford was a three-year-old camera with a plastic kit lens. I took countless photos with it, many of them are still my favorites.

Some thoughts

I am a strong believer that quality should not require taking a second mortgage. In my opinion a wedding dress should be comfortable and light, here are some of my favorites. For a party to be successful your top priorities should be outrageously delicious food and awesome music.

I hope to cover a mix of subjects from clients’ photos to editing techniques, travel photography, family snapshots and more. I hope you find this blog inspiring and helpful and become a frequent visitor. I will try to make it worthwhile.
